Gift cards may be the most popular gift during the holidays, but consumers should read the fine print to keep from losing out on the value of the cards, reports Ginger Allen of CBS11-TV, Dallas - Fort Worth.
Consumers say purchased cards were already expired, or due to fees, cards lost value before the cards could be used.
Jeannette Kopko of the BBB in Dallas reminds consumers that gift cards have varying conditions, and it's best to find out in advance so the full value of the card can be used.
