The Torch Award is designed to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but also the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure that our country’s marketplace remains fair and honorable for all Americans.
No business is too large or too small to be considered. The award is categorized so that a 2-employee company does not have to compete with a 150-employee company. BBB membership is not a requirement; however, the business’s reliability report with the Bureau will be considered in the selection process. The award was established in order to gain recognition for American businesses that maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices in an ethical fashion.
Awards will be presented in both the Brazos Valley and Deep East Texas. The presentations in the Brazos Valley will be on April 6 at Miramont Country Club, with the Deep East Texas presentations the following month.
A nomination form is printed below. There is no fee to enter. If you have a favorite plumber, restaurant, repair shop, retail outlet, or other business, please consider nominating them for this award. Non-profit organizations are not eligible.
